PEFC International awards NCCF the certificate of appreciation for gaining the second greatest increase in PEFC certified forest area in the world during the period September 2019 to September 2020.

We dedicate this award to everyone who has been working tirelessly behind the scene the forest managers, communities, and stakeholders for sustainably managing their forests. NCCF has been actively providing professional assistance to the State Forest Departments and the stakeholders in certification matters through sensitization workshops, training programs, and advisory services.

The Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests (NCCF), a professional network of distinguished forestry sector stakeholders, developed India specific forest management certification standard which has been endorsed by PEFC, giving the scheme international recognition.

Apart from certified forest areas, NCCF currently has 33+ PEFC-certified wood-based brands under chain of custody certification which are sustainability-based, voluntary, non-regulatory, facilitative, conservation, and marketing tools promoting responsive consumerism and environmentally conscious production. It provides both non-financial and financial incentives, to improve upon the management practices for enhanced environmental, social, and economic benefits.
