NCCF & NABCB organized webinar for Certification Bodies:
16th April 2021; NCCF & NABCB, jointly organized a webinar for the certification bodies (CBs) on NCCF’s Forest Management and ToF Certification Schemes, PEFC CoC Certification and accreditation requirements for CBs. 68 participants, representing leading CBs, qualified auditors, natural resource management experts and consultants attended. The participants appreciated that certification is an important management tool to promote sustainability of resources. Third party assessment, through credible CBs with trained and experienced auditors and experts, is a demonstrable evidence to ensure that we are managing our forests, ToF and other natural resources sustainably. The participants expressed keen interest in understanding NCCF’s certification schemes and business potential for CBs, CoC certification and the requirements for provisional recognition of the CBs to conduct certification audit against these schemes.
