NCCF follows a multi-stakeholder engagement approach in all its standard development activities. The stakeholders are mapped taking reference from the UN Agenda 21 stakeholder categories. These stakeholders, including those from government, management organizations, civil society, state forest departments, forest professionals, and farmers are grouped together to develop the nation-specific certification schemes, in line with the Standard Setting Procedure
