Essential Qualifications Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Forestry, NRM, Sustainable Development or similar disciplines

Key Responsibilities/Roles – Coordination for development and implementation of Sustainability Standards and Certification Schemes
– Secondary Research and desk research regarding certification schemes & projects
– Literature review and Data collection
– Development of concept notes, process documentation, policy briefs on diverse areas of natural resources management
– Drafting Presentations, letters, email correspondence
– Maintaining records and data
– Attending and organising events on behalf of the organisation, – Networking with Stakeholders
Salary Rs.30,000/- PM

Job Title: Assistant Director

Essential Qualifications Post Graduate/ or equivalent in Forestry/ Natural Resource Management/Wood Science Technology/ Environment Science or any stream of Life Sciences.
Reports to: Director General
Experience– 3-5 years of experience after post graduation
– Experience with certification schemes will be added advantage
– ­Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
­- Understanding of project management principles
– Quick learning aptitude
– Good documentation/drafting skills
– Ability to work under stringent timelines with minimum guidance
Key Responsibilities/Roles­- Supervise and monitor Sustainability Certification Scheme Development;engaging with stakeholders, industry,central ministries, state governments,institutions,CSOs
– Develop and implement strategy for NCCF FM, ToF, NWFP and other Certification Scheme
– Develop and implement strategy for PEFC Chain of Custody Certification Scheme; Management of PEFC CoC Certification Scheme
– Liaise with Certification Bodies and Accreditation Body
– Liaise with stakeholders for uptake of NCCF Certification Schemes,
– Organize workshops/webinars, trainings, one to one meetings.
­- Preparing proposals, concept notes for projects
­- Planning, coordination and implementation of projects
­- Work in coordination with the Promotions, Communication and Advocacy Group, other Assistant Directors and NCCF Team
­- Supervise and guide coordinators for day to day activities
­- Attend relevant events, conferences and workshops on behalf of organisation
– Participate in project and grant proposal development and annual planning and reporting processes
­- Willingness to travel (as may be needed)
